マッケンジー杯。Mackenzie Cup.

We, Baiko English Speaking Society, held the 21st Mackenzie Cup English Recitation Contest, today. It was awesome. One of the Baiko students received a prize, third one. This year, the contestants had high-level, close game. Judges had challenging time to decide the best speech giver.
梅光ESSは今日21回マッケンジー杯英語暗誦コンテストを無事に終了できました。すごかったですよ☆梅光からも一年生が二人出場して、一人は見事三位に入賞もしました！今年はレベルの高い大会になり、上位組みは接戦だったため、ジャッジの先生方はかなり悩んで1位を決定しました。

おおとりは梅光、自慢の新人、真利菜ちゃんでした☆一年生なのにめっちゃ発音良いので、入賞するのはわかってました！準備もしっかりしてたし。当然の入賞といった感じ？

オレンジ風味のパウンドケーキ。森作先生の奥様が焼いてくださるんです～。ESSは毎年レセプション用に先生夫人にケーキをおねがいしちゃってるんですｗｗｗｗ奥様の働きにも感謝でいっぱいです☆みんな大好きえっちゃんのお手製ケーキ☆☆

After the contest, we went to Gyukaku to have Yakiniku together as usual:) We were talking about the contest itself, our future activities, and my experience in America, etc. Now Baiko ESS holds seventeen members, exclude me. They are growing, awesome...I am so happy about that. When I was a freshman, only one sophomore and me were the members lol I had asked my friends to join the club andI got two from my grade. When I became the president two years ago, I made a promotion video thing with my friend, Lego to get more students from new freshmen. Then we got nearly ten students. The ten students have been doing great job with me, nop, more than me, they are working hard for the club all the time. Now we have seventeen... so great! I might give my pronounce session a little bit more in the club activity this semester, coz they asked me to do it. I have time...so I would. I love the members, I love the club so much lol High quality club in Baiko is ESS lol You know what we have three or four executives from student committee, four honoured students, most students are attending the highest English classes from each grades, a lot of students joined America-exchange programme, also a lot of future candidates for the programme, one student is going to America in a few months as an exchange student, like I did. Just awesome.
コンテストの後は、打ち上げで例年どおり牛角で焼肉です☆コンテストについてとか、これからの活動内容とか、私のアメリカ生活がどんなだったかとかを話しつつ。私が一年生のときは、先輩と二人で活動してたんだけど、今は十七人に！私が一年生の時には勧誘をがんばって、同級生から二人入部させて何とか活動をしている感じだったんだけど、その友達といっしょに英語でプロモーションビデオをつくって新歓でながしたのがそこそこのヒットをみせ、二年生の時には十人近く入部してくれました☆スカウトもしたし（笑）その子たちが今は中核になっていい仕事をしてくれています！おかげさまで、部の成長は著しいくらいの成長率を見せています。私が部長していたころよりもより活発になっているかも。コンテストは終わりましたが、お誘いもありましたから、今学期もうすこし部の活動のなかでジーンの発音矯正をやるかもしれませんｗｗｗ楽しいｗこの梅光のESSは本当にいい部だと思います。健全で、なんといってもメンバーがハイクオリティーなんです！十七人中の三人か四人かは学友なんかの幹部だし、四人は特待生だし、先輩にはアメリカ交換留学経験者がぞろぞろ、私も含めwそして、今年度の留学候補生も一人、留学希望の一年生も、二年生もいるし、なんといっても、十七人のほとんどが習熟度別英語クラスのレベル1、一番成績の良いクラスで授業を受けてるんですよ☆自慢の部ですね～。よかったよかった、成長して！
