The first week or around that, I guess, we Baiko students were shopping at WalMart.
Then a guy come to us and suddenly asked us, "are you from Japan??" in Japanese.
Then he gave us his card and told us, "keep in touch, keep in touch, I will hold a party soonly!"
Haha, it was funny. He is a coordinator of ABI. So we went to his party to build a connection:)
おっかしいけれど、実は、世界って思っているよりずっとずっと小さいみたいで。
こっちに来て一週間たつかたたないかのころだったとおもうけど、梅光の皆でウォルマでお買いものしていたら、「日本から来たの？！」っと日本語でおじさんが話しかけてきたんです。んでもって、「連絡してね、連絡してね、もうすぐパーティーするからさぁ。日本人同士さぁ。」っというかんじで。うけるｗ
完全に変なおじさんｗｗでも、その後に名刺をもらったのです。そこには、コーディネーターだとｗABIの方だそうで、、、コネっとくかｗっということで、パーティーに行ってきました。
We had to talk with American workers in English, and the translater from AISIN, Teru-san organised me Jeff-san to talk with. So we talked a bit about American life or something.
